A Team Run Across Canada

THE BIG CANADA RUN 2022

The coveted adventure to run across Canada is no longer reserved for a few lucky ones.

A once-in-a-lifetime journey that you could have only dreamed of is now a reality.

The Big Canada Run is a virtual team challenge across Canada with two different routes:

  • Leg #1: The classic east to west route follows the Trans-Canada Highway. From St. John’s, NL to Victoria, BC, covering 8,000km.
  • Leg #2: The west to east route starts in Victoria, BC, goes up to Whitehorse, Yukon, and finishes on the coast of NL, covering 10,000km.
  • For those teams who want a bigger challenge, the Maple Challenge includes Leg #1 and Leg#2, exploring 26 iconic Canadian cities.

Assemble a team of friends, family, running buddies, or co-workers and be part of this amazing journey.

Your team has from Canada Day (July 1st 2022) until June 30th 2023 to complete the adventure. Run, walk, hike, it all counts toward your team’s distance.

And you can make your achievement mean even more by donating and helping raise funds for one of our three amazing Canadian charities.

Our experienced race organizers will be with you every step of the way! We’ll set up ways for you to stay connected, experience Canada in a way you’ve never had before, and keep track of all your milestones and achievements. Who knew that a virtual challenge could be so much fun, engaging, and motivating!

I love how it brought my family (which was my team) together. We were all contributing individually toward a common goal. We grew closer and also worked to improve ourselves in the process. Plus it was great to see us all contributing even though we varied greatly in our individual fitness. We had a 50+ year age difference between us.
