The coveted adventure to run across Canada is no longer reserved for a few lucky ones.

With two different routes to choose from, you can explore the diverse landscapes and cultures of Canada, from the rugged coastlines of Newfoundland to the stunning Rocky Mountains of Alberta. 

  • Leg #1: Run, walk or hike the classic east-to-west route that follows the Trans-Canada Highway. From St. John’s, N.L. to Victoria, B.C., covering 8,000km.
  • Leg #2: Run, walk or hike the west-to-east route that starts in Victoria, BC, goes up to Whitehorse, Yukon, and finishes on the coast of N.L., covering 10,000km.
  • For those teams who want a bigger challenge, the Maple Challenge includes Leg #1 and Leg #2, exploring 26 iconic Canadian cities.
  • The new Cycling Maple Challenge (Leg #1 + Leg #2) will take you East to West, then North and back East on an 18,000 km biking journey with your team.

Assemble a team of friends, family, running buddies, or co-workers and be part of this amazing journey.

Your team has from Canada Day (July 1st, 2023) until June 30th, 2024 to complete the adventure. That’s as few as 2.2km per day for a team of 10 runners! Run, walk, hike – it can all count towards your team’s distance. Run, walk, hike or bike; it all counts toward your team’s distance.

Our experienced race organizers will be with you every step of the way, providing support and encouragement as you work toward completing your team’s distance. Whether you run, walk, hike, or bike, every kilometre counts towards your team’s progress.

I love how it brought my family (which was my team) together. We were all contributing individually toward a common goal. We grew closer and also worked to improve ourselves in the process.
